"I had always been a little nervous about leaving my dog Willy Christmas Tree home alone while we were out of town because he is such a people person and is particularly attached to me. Since we knew LaVaida from a dog group, it seemed like a great opportunity to try leaving him home with a petsitter rather than putting him in a boarding kennel. Our first time using Happy Paws pet service was a one night visit. Not only did he do fine, but LaVaida spent some time with him watching TV so that he was more secure being left alone. She also fed our cat and even had a treat for Lego the Hamster. We have since had LaVaida take care of all three pets for a 5 day stint and everything went so smoothly. It is so much nicer knowing our animals are in familiar territory and that Willy not only gets a visit and food, but also a good walk everyday which is what he is most used to. I could not expect one of the neighbor kids to be responsible for an 80+ dog. My family is happy to have such a great resource for those times when we can't take our pets with us. We highly recommend this service to anyone!"
