Rates and Services
Pet Sitting:
For vacations, business trips, hospitalization, emergencies or for any other reason you are away from home for an extended period of time.
• Daily visit: $25 (First visit)
• Additional 30 min visits: $20
• Option for 3rd visit: $15 (15-20min)
• Express visit: $15 (15 min)
Additional time: $5.00 for every 15 minutes.
3rd visit is available if needed. Please ask for rates.
Daily pet sitting services include:
• Rates vary on number of visits and time
• Fresh food and water (dishes will be cleaned)
• Medication administered if necessary
• Collection of daily mail, newspaper, packages
• Trash cans taken out on scheduled days
• Litter box, yard, cage clean-up
• Rotation of lights, blinds & curtains
• Indoor/Outdoor plants watered
• Mail/Newspapers brought in daily
Dog Walks:
Dog walking for mid-day, long work days and exercise for your dog to live a healthier lifestyle.
• 15 min: $15
• 30 min: $20
• 45 min $25
• 60 min: $30
Weekly rates available.
Over-nights:
A great service for your pet if they require extra attention and company at night so they don't feel so lonely and so they can keep their normal eating and sleeping routines.
• Overnights: $65-$75. Prices depends on pets needs and other duties. 10-12 hrs. Times are negotiable. Mid-day visits additional charge depending on length of visit.
Over-night visits include:
• 2 walks per day during daytime hours
• Scooping litter box, yard clean-up
• Newspaper and mail brought in daily
• Indoor and outdoor plants watered
• Handling other minor household tasks as needed
• Security checks
• Bringing out trash
• Brushing, combing, bath if requested
As an extra benefit for over-night visits, your home will have a 'lived-in' look during long extended vacations.
Additional Rates/Services:
• Pet Taxi Service: To make life easier I can transport your pet to groomer or vet. $25 (within 5 miles) round trip $30 (over 5 miles) round trip.
• Pet Supply Pick-up: I know your daily lives are busy, let me help pick up your dogs food, supplies, toys etc. $15
• Key Pick-up/Return: $10 additional unless key is provided at time of consultation, than no charge.
• Holiday Charge: $10 per day (Labor Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, New Years Day)
• $5 charge for less than 5 hours notice
No charges for:
• Cancellation: No charge for cancellations with advance notice of 48hrs
• No charge for additional pets
• No charge for administering medication
Initial Consultation:
• The initial interview is free of charge and when I meet your wonderful pets that are a huge part of your family.
• I will obtain detailed information on your pet's habits, needs, requests for your pet and home because the more I know about your pet the better I can take care of them.
• The required paperwork is completed, veterinary release signed in case of emergency, and key pick up.

Important Tips to Remember:
• Make sure your pet has ID tag on it's collar with his/her name and contact information.
• In case of emergencies leave contact information, flight, hotel, etc. Someone you trust to make decisions on your behalf.
• Happy Paws will not be responsible for Shared Responsibilty with the care of your pet. These well intentioned actions can cause confusion during shared sitting. Most common problems include: overfeeding unlocked doors, lost keys or missng feedings all together.
Payments and Cancellations:
• Payment is due up front on first day of service.
• Late payments (after 10 days) fee: $20.
• Cancellations less than 48hrs: 20%
• Returned Checks: $25
• Cancellations on Holidays at least 7 days notice. Please notify Happy Paws in order to not pay a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days are subject to 50% cancellation fee. Less than 2 days 100% cancellation fee.
• No charge for change of dates or early returns, providing you contact Happy Paws prior to a visit. If you return from trip early and do not call to cancel the visit, and we arrive for the pet sit, you will be charged the full fee of the visit.
